Spot developing crypto momentum with PumpTime

PumpTime brings token prices, short liquidation pressure, open interest, spot taker buying and Bitcoin context into one analytical dashboard. It helps you inspect whether upward pressure is building and whether the evidence agrees.

Short liquidations: pressure already observed

Compare long and short liquidation percentages, actual dollar activity and how pressure changes between observations. A high short share identifies the composition of liquidations; it does not count the shorts still open or their liquidation prices.

Open interest beyond the price effect

The open-interest heuristic compares hourly price movement with estimated exposure growth after adjusting USD open interest for price movement. This helps separate valuation changes from additional exposure. Every contract has a long and a short side; open interest alone cannot identify who initiated a position.

Spot buying with participation

Buy and sell percentages remain easy to read. Additional history checks whether activity is stronger than a historical median and whether buying dominance persists across completed candles. The combined momentum assessment requires this supporting participation, rather than relying on a buy percentage alone.

One-hour and four-hour candidate screening

Near-term screening uses consecutive closed Coinbase USD candles, price acceleration, Bitcoin-relative strength, volume growth, drawdown and extension. It supplements the wider sector rotation screen. Coverage is limited to a shortlist of verified Coinbase markets; missing history is not treated as positive evidence.

Measure what follows a signal

Evaluated dashboard signals are recorded with their rule versions. A bounded observation ledger checks subsequent one-hour and four-hour market paths, including upward targets, drawdown and time to the first target-reaching candle. Measurement starts at the next full minute after the signal, preventing earlier price moves from being counted as future success.

These are observed market outcomes, not trade execution returns or calibrated probabilities. The ledger covers queried tokens and retains a rolling sample. Liquidity, spreads, fees and execution remain relevant to any real transaction.

Transparent market evidence

PumpTime shows data freshness and incomplete coverage, with methodology available inside each heuristic’s “How it works” accordion. Market data can be delayed or unavailable, and a developing setup can reverse. You make the investment decision.
